Scribbling began much before he could write ABCD. He used to draw the lines horizontals, verticals to represent trains running on tracks on the walls and floors of the house with a piece of chalk or crayon. These left hand doodling were the first expressions of the artist within him.

His parents and school teachers acknowledged those sketches and their appreciation encouraged that innate desire to pursue Art as his career. After schooling, he took admission in the most prestigious institute Sir J J School of Art, in Mumbai.
