About Raewyn

I am an Australian children's book author with ten trade titles selling well around the world.

I write for all ages, from first chapter books to junior fiction novels.

My publishers are Penguin Australia and Lothian/Hachette, but my work has found its way to the US through Scholastic USA and Rigby, and to the UK via Catnip Publishing.

My best known title, THE MERMAID'S TAIL, a first chapter book published in Penguin's 'Aussie Nibbles' series, has sold incredibly well. It was illustrated by award winning illustrator, Ann James.

Also illustrated by Ann James, my other Aussie Nibble, TAI'S PENGUIN, (published in the UK with the title THE LITTLE PENGUIN,) was short listed for the WA Premier's Award in 2007.

I have a new Aussie Nibble coming out in 2007 - JOE'S BOAT.

It is about a little boy who finds a long forgotten boat in an old garage...
